Stamped or Signature: what’s the difference?

Our stamped sets use laser-cut acrylic tiles with designs printed onto the surface. They offer colorful Amahj style at a more accessible price point. Our Signature sets feature polished tiles with hand-engraved, hand-painted designs. The lines differ in material, finish, and production method; both feature clearly labeled tile designs.

Choose stamped tiles for an affordable everyday set

If you want clearly labeled American mahjong tiles and a design you love at a lower price point than our Signature line, start with our stamped sets.

Choose Signature tiles for handcrafted details

If you love an engraved finish and hand-painted design, explore our Signature sets. Small differences in painting and color are part of their handcrafted character.

Choose Foundation when you’re learning or teaching

The Foundation Stamped set features large, bold labels and an included 3-Level Amahj Learning Card. Progress through 10-tile beginner hands, 12-tile intermediate hands, and 14-tile hands as you build confidence. An NMJL card is not required to use the included Amahj Learning Card.

Neoprene backed. Spot clean or Machine wash in cold water on gentle cycle. Lay flat to dry (do not machine dry).
